The new Getty Images app is now faster, smoother, and more personalized, making it the perfect tool for creative and media professionals, as well as photography enthusiasts everywhere. With this app, users can easily search, save, and share an impressive collection of creative, editorial, and archival imagery and video.
 
The app offers a more personal experience by displaying recent activities right on the Home screen. You can conveniently access your recently viewed images, searches, boards, downloads, following, and favorites. The app also allows you to clear individual searches and views or clear them all at once. It provides flexibility by allowing you to show only the sections that are relevant to you.
 
The app showcases big and beautiful images that can be viewed in full-screen by simply tapping on an image. Users can pinch and zoom to get a closer look at the image to ensure it's the perfect fit for their projects. These high-resolution images are optimized for all screen sizes, including iPad Pro.
 
In addition to images, the Getty Images app also allows users to search, preview, and play videos. Users can explore the extensive video collections, preview them on the detail page, or watch them in full screen.
 
Curated galleries are another valuable feature of the app. Users can easily browse through image galleries containing Getty Images' newest and best photography curated by their editors. From pop culture celebrities to the latest national and world events, these curated galleries provide a comprehensive visual experience.
 
Searching and filtering through Getty Images' vast collection of over 60 million creative, editorial, and archival images and videos is made easy with this app. The powerful search function allows users to find exactly what they're looking for while filters help narrow down the results to the desired images.
 
The app offers convenient saving and favoriting options for users with Getty Images accounts. By signing in, users can save images to their boards or create new ones in real time. Videos saved to boards can also be previewed directly within the app. Users can quickly favorite images by using the heart icon, allowing for easy access and review on the Home screen.
 
Downloading images is available for Getty Images Premium Access, Easy-access, Editorial Subscription, and UltraPack customers. Users can download image assets to their iPad or iPhone or directly to Dropbox. It's important to note that these downloads are subject to the terms of the Getty Images agreement. (Comps can also be downloaded; however, video downloads are not yet supported.)
 
Finding and following favorite contributors is made simple with the app's user-friendly interface. Users can easily find and follow their favorite contributors to see more of their captivating images.
 
Sharing images or boards with colleagues or clients is effortless with the Getty Images app. Users can easily share single images or entire boards via email or iMessage. Additionally, sharing links of single images on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter is made seamless.
 
For non-commercial use, the app also provides an embedding option. Users can easily copy an image embed code to their clipboard for use on websites or blogs.
